S&K Technologies companies earn business certifications

Two subsidiaries of S&K Technologies — International Towers and S&K Mission Support ­— have received 8(a) certifications from the Small Business Administration.

According to S&K, the certification enables these companies to receive sole-source and competitive contract awards, access to SBA support and resources, and inclusion in Mentor-Protegee arrangements through 2028. This certification is designed to enable rapid growth and expansion.

“Entrance into the SBA’s 8(a) business development program was granted after ITL and SKMS completed a rigorous application process to ensure that they met the standards for entering this coveted program,” SKT CEO Chad Cottet said in a media release. “This certification streamlines the contracting process for our federal clients to purchase S&K products and services. With this certification ITL and SKMS now have access to resources and support to expand our business and continue to deliver the highest quality services and solutions to our customers and to the federal government.”

Headquartered in St. Ignatius, with a main office in Tucson, Arizona, ITL is a design-build general contractor with over 30 years of experience supporting government, commercial

cellular, and broadcast customers with design-build solutions. ITL currently supports several U.S. Customs and Border Protection programs that include the Integrated Fixed Tower Program and Remote Video

Surveillance System Program).

Headquartered in St. Ignatius, with a main office in Houston, SKMS offers business oversight, technical, administrative, Information Technology, and engineering services to federal government customers, including NASA and the Department of Energy.
