Two Polson Lady Pirates teams second at Splash Tournament

Two Polson Lady Pirates teams each finished second in last week’s Splash Tournament.

The 16U/18U and 12U teams each were runnersup.

For the 16U/18U squad, Polson won a semifinal round game, 7-5, over Sparks-Newman. In the finals, Magic-Thatcher claimed the title with a 14-6 win over the hosts.

The 12U team dropped a hard-fought game, 4-2, to Kalispell’s Emeralds-Perkins.

For the 14U team, Polson was third after beating Columbia Falls, 9-3. Polson dropped a semifinal round game to Sparks-Berning, 8-4.

For the 10U team, it fell in the consolation round to Columbia Falls, 10-4.
