Leonard Dale Snyder, 66

Leonard Dale Snyder, age 66, passed away on June 6, 2020 at his home after a battle with cancer. He was born on July 5, 1937 at the family home in Ronan, MT.

He graduated from Ronan High School in 1955. Leonard was a boxer and a Golden Glove Champion in 1965. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time in the mountains, riding his 4 wheeler and flying with his brother Robert.

Leonard worked for Plum Creek Timber Company for 39 years as quality control and was given the Master Lumber Man award in 1993. He retired in 1998, then worked at the Jore Corporation for a short time.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Melva Snyder, two brothers, four sisters, one granddaughter and one great-grandson.

He is survived by his wife Mary, his children, Melodie (Ben) Maughan, Steven Snyder, Tammy Snyder and Kyle Snyder; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; five brothers and two sisters.
