The Charlo volleyball team hosted defending class C state champion Manhattan Christian in a Western C divisional semifinal match Thursday night.

Top-seeded Manhattan Christian won in four sets, 25-10, 25-20, 24-26, 25-6.

The Eagles had lost only three sets all season, including two in their first match.

Charlo will host Hot Springs at 6 p.m. Saturday in a consolation match. The winner earns the right to challenge the loser of the championship match, also Saturday, for a trip to the state tournament in Malta.

The challenge game would take place Monday night.
