Chiefs cruise to road win at Stevensville
At Stevensville this past weekend, the visiting Chiefs (2-4) flipped the script on their preceding game by limiting their opponent to two tallies while erupting for seven scores of their own. Trapper McAllister scored three times, while Caleb Cheff and Girma Detwiler scored twice to account for the bulk of Ronan’s scoring against the Yellowjackets (0-5).
A conversion pass reception by Jayden Rodda, supplemented by conversion runs by Tristan Fisher and a Daniel Kelsch quarterback keeper, helped propel Ronan to its second win.
Ronan hosts the Broncs of Frenchtown this Friday, a game in which the Chiefs will get plenty of opportunity to implement their tweeks in technique refinement acquired from tutorials on tackling.
Cumulative tallies place Kelsch on pace to surpass the 1,000-yard mark for season passing at some juncture during the contest.
