Katelyne Druyvestein struck out 13 and didn’t allow a hit in the Polson softball team’s 24-0 five-inning win at Hamilton on Thursday.

The Lady Pirates’ bats remained hot following wins of 11-2 and 21-0 to open the season the previous weekend.

Josie Caye hit a lead-off home run to get things rolling at Hamilton. Turquoise Pierre hit two homers, and Avery Starr hit a three-run shot, her first varsity round-tripper, as Polson racked up 11 extra-base hits and 21 overall.

Polson generated 11 hits over the course of the contest that stretched for extra bases.

The Lady Pirates (3-0) won’t take the field again until a road game at Libby on April 17.
