'The Last Romance' mixes laughter and love
The Port Polson Players, in association with The Mission Valley Friends of the Arts, are wrapping up the summer theater season with a production of “The Last Romance.”
The romantic comedy about finding love at any age was written by Tony award-winning playwright Joe DiPietro.
The heart-warming comedy about the transformational power of love centers on a relationship between a man and a woman in their golden years. A tender romantic comedy, it also illustrates how a family tie can often tether our hearts harder and faster than any love affair.
“The Last Romance” will run for three weeks, Aug. 5-22, at Polson’s beautiful air-conditioned theater on the lake.
Curtain times are 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.
