Advance tickets for Flathead River Rodeo on sale

Tickets for the Flathead River Rodeo, set for Aug. 26-28 at the Polson Fairgrounds, are available for purchase.

The event was named the Indian National Finals Rodeo Tour’s rodeo of the year in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.

This year the INFR has moved away from its traditional region-based season format for the 2021 season and instead sanctioned larger tour rodeos and one-time qualifier events to fill spots to the INFR finals.

The champions of the Flathead River Rodeo will advance directly to the 2021 Indian National Finals Rodeo at the Southpoint Equestrian Center in Las Vegas on Oct. 19-23. The Flathead River Rodeo will feature top rodeo competitors from across the United States and Canada.

Tickets can be purchased online at tinyurl.com/2jrmpr8d or in person at Falling Waters inside Kwataqnuk Resort & Casino or at the casino bar.

This year’s event features a $1,000/night cash giveaway and a 50/50 drawing on Saturday night of rodeo. Those who purchase 50/50 tickets need not be present to win. Diana Whitworth is selling 50/50 tickets at the Department of Human Resources Development and Jableau Arlee is selling them at Three Chiefs Cultural Center, 77529 Highway 93 in St. Ignatius.
