Historical photos sought for courthouse display

The Lake County Commissioners are looking for a few historical photographs of buildings and people throughout the county. The photographs, after framing, will be displayed in the hall of the Lake County Courthouse.

Anyone with such photographs is asked to email a brief description and a digital image of the photo for consideration. Contact Kate Stinger at kstinger@lakemt.gov.

All invited to Christmas Eve service

Polson Community Church’s Christmas Eve Service will begin at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 24. It will feature the reading of scriptures and the singing of carols. The public is invited. The church is located at 1814 First St. E in Polson.

Advent services at Good Shepherd

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 409 Fourth Ave E, Polson, is hosting Advent worship services Wednesday evenings through Dec. 22. Services include a soup supper at 5:30 p.m. and Holden Evening Prayer worship at 6:15. There also will be Christmas Eve candlelight communion services at 4 and 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 24.
