S&K Aerospace awarded $44 million U.S. Army contract

S&K Aerospace (SKA) in St. Ignatius recently was awarded a multimillion-dollar U.S. Army contract for support of aircraft parts for various non-standard rotary wing platforms.

The contract was awarded by the U.S. Army Contracting Command located at the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Ala., and supports the mission of the U.S. Army’s Multi-National Aviation Special Project Office (MASPO).

As one of the four awardees, SKA will compete for firm fixed price delivery orders to be issued against this estimated $43,546,590 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract. SKA is a leading 3PL provider with strategic relationships among multiple original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

“We are excited to support the U.S. Army,” Vice President of Operations Mike Delaney stated in a press release. “We are committed to building customized supply chain management solutions for our military customers. Our third-party acquisition process and strong relationships with our vendor base provide value to our customers and allow us to leverage buying power across multiple contract vehicles.”
