The Polson boys basketball team had just one game last week heading into their cross-county clash with Mission, which was set to tip off after the Leader went to press.

Saturday’s game at Browning initially was postponed over COVID-19 concerns, then later cancelled altogether.

On Thursday at home the Pirates had their way for most of the night against Columbia Falls at Salish Kootenai College in Pablo.

Colton Graham scored 26 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead the way for the Pirates.

Polson (8-1) led by five points after the first and pulled away the rest of the game.

Alihn Anderson scored a team-high 12 points for the Wildcats (5-5), while Allec Knapton had 11 points to go with 13 rebounds.

Polson’s Jarrett Wilson had seven points, four rebounds and four assists. Fellow guard Xavier Fisher added 13 points and five rebounds.
