The Polson boys are riding a wave of success into divisional play at Butte this week after two more wins to end the regular season boosted their record to 13-1.

The Pirates clobbered Browning, 72-50, at home Thursday, then topped Ronan 51-43 Saturday.

Polson enters divisionals as the top seed out of the Northwest and ranked No. 2 in the state at 406MTSports.com, behind the only team to beat them this season, unbeaten Dillon.

Colton Graham scored 22 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the win over the Chiefs (9-6), who managed to secure the No. 2 seed despite losing their final three games of the regular season.

Leonard Burke led Ronan with 14 points, while Elijah Tonasket had 13 and Marlo Tonasket added seven. Girma Detwiler finished with five points, five rebounds and three blocks.

Polson trailed early, then rallied for a two-point lead at halftime. A 14-7 third period gave them the cushion they needed to hold off their rivals.

Darian Williams hit four of six 3-point attempts and finished with 13 points. Jarrett Wilson had eight points and nine rebounds. JC Steele dished out three assists in the win.

Both of the Lake County teams open divisional play Thursday at Butte.
