PUBLIC NOTICE This is to notify all interested parties that the Lake County Council on Aging (LCCOA)will be applying for the Montana Department of Transportation 5311 operating grant for $61,883 for grant period FY22 (July 1, 2021 thru June 30, 2022.) Funding will be used for operating expenses associated with providing transportation services to the general public, elderly, and persons with disabilities within Lake County and to Missoula and Kalispell. LCCOA also is applying for the TransADE matching fund grant for FY22 in the amount of $8,916. LCCOA is also applying for $37,990 through the capital assistance grant. The capital assistance grant is funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and administered by the Montana Department of Transportation. FTA funds will be used to replace one minivan that is used to provide transportation services to seniors, persons with disabilities, and the general public to medical appointments, shopping, and social appointments. This is to notify all interested parties that Mission Mountain Enterprises (MME) is applying for $69,041.97 through the capital assistance grant. The capital assistance grant is funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and administered by the Montana Department of Transportation. FTA funds will be used to purchase a minivan that will be used for providing transportation services to Group Homes and the Activity Center. All transit grants are due March 1, 2021.
