“Concept to Consumer” food business workshop on tap

“Concept to Consumer,” a one-day course for anyone considering starting a food business, will be offered free of charge in late January.

Instructor Jan Tusick is director of the Mission Mountain Food Enterprise Center at Lake County Community Development Corporation (LCCDC).

Topics covered will include: Target market development, cottage food law, wholesale food manufacturing, food product development , processing options, and planning your food business.
