Polson

The Polson Senior Center, 504 Third Ave. East, is open. Masks are mandatory, but the center cannot guarantee safety from COVID-19, so visitors are encouraged to use their best judgment about participating in meals and activities.

Activities

Exercise class: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Mahjong: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Cards: 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

Bingo: 7 p.m. Fridays.

Veteran's Representative: 10 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, Jan. 19.

Commodities: Tuesday, Jan. 19

Card Bingo: 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21

Also, the center is selling See's Candy boxes until gone.

Meals

Take-out or home-delivery lunches are available for $5 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Upcoming offerings are:

Thursday, Jan. 14: Pot pie, biscuit, pear and cheese salad, fruit salad.

Friday, Jan. 15: Chicken salad, potato wedges, spiced apples, coleslaw, lemon bars.

Monday, Jan. 18: Vegetable soup, peanut butter and jelly sandwich; frozen fruit salad, pudding.

Tuesday, Jan. 19: Baked chicken, dressing, mixed vegetables, cranberry jello salad, fruit cocktail cake.

Wednesday, Jan. 20: Pork patties with lettuce/bun; carrots, 5-cup salad, bread pudding.

Thursday, Jan. 21: Polish dog; sauerkraut; creamed peas, pasta salad, peanut butter cookie.

Dixon

Dixon Senior Center, 106 Third St., has opened its doors for eating in, while adhering to social distancing precautions. The center continues to accept takeout meal requests. Meals will be served at 5:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays. They cost $4 per serving and will be delivered to Dixon residents upon request.

Upcoming meals include tuna casserole, vegetable, rolls and dessert on Monday, or ham, cabbage and chicken and dumplings with salad on Thursday, Jan. 21.
