Tribal Health temporary closes Ronan clinic

| January 19, 2021 7:20 AM

Tribal Health continues to work with the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) to advocate for available allocations of COVID-19 vaccinations for our community.

As Tribal Health continues to get more COVID vaccine doses, in order to have as many health care providers as possible to administer COVID vaccines, Tribal Health is redirecting some staff by temporarily closing the Ronan Health Center.

The Ronan Health Center will close temporarily, until further notice, on Friday, Jan. 22 to allow the staff who work there to help with COVID vaccination clinics for Tribal Health.

Tribal Health will provide the public with more information as details for these vaccination clinics become set.

Patients who currently utilize services at the Ronan Health Center, such as immunizations and hearing aid batteries and services, are asked to call Tribal Health at 406-745-3525 to get more information about how to access those services at the Polson and/or St. Ignatius Health Centers.

Additionally, Community Health Representatives and other Community Health staff will be limiting transportation for patients in order to redirect health care providers to vaccination efforts.

Patients who need transportation services are asked to call CSKT Department of Human Resources Development (DHRD) at 406-675-2700 ext. 1030.
