LEGAL NOTICE The Lake County Planning Board will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 7:00 pm. Public attendance will be through a virtual format via ZOOM. Agenda items include: LAKESHORE PROTECTION REGULATIONS WORK SESSION The Planning Board will hold an informal work session as part of the process to begin updating the Lake County Lakeshore Protection Regulations. The Planning Board will meet to discuss the current regulations, potential amendments, and the approach moving forward. The current Lakeshore Protection Regulations can be provided by the Lake County Planning Department or found on the Planning Department's webpage. The public is encouraged to attend this meeting and participate in the process. Information regarding the agenda item is available from the Lake County Planning Dept. Written comments received by February 1, 2021 will be included in the board packets. All written and verbal comments are welcome and will be forwarded to the board for their consideration. LEGAL NOTICE On Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 3:30 pm, the Lake County Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing. Public attendance will be through a virtual format via ZOOM. The hearing will include the following items: CHEFF CONDITIONAL USE AND VARIANCE REQUESTS Carstens & Associates, on behalf of Shayla Dell Cheff, is requesting an after-the-fact conditional use approval to allow for the disturbance of slopes exceeding 25% on a lakefront lot, and an after-the-fact variance for disturbance of slopes greater than 25% within the 50-foot vegetative buffer. The requests are associated with the construction of a roadway and building site preparation for a proposed single-family residence on the subject properties.
