Mud volleyball Saturday in Polson
The Boys and Girls Club of the Flathead Reservation and Lake County is sponsoring a mud volleyball tournament this weekend at the Polson Fairgrounds, and there’s still time to sign up.
Regular registration ends Thursday, July 15. Teams require six players with a maximum of two subs. Anyone age 14 or older can participate. Play begins at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Registration costs $150 per team and can be completed at https://tinyurl.com/m727fk9h. Event T-shirts also are available for $10.
All teams are guaranteed three round-robin games and entrance into a single-elimination tournament. Prizes will be awarded to top teams, and there will be assorted team prizes for best dressed, muddiest players, best team cheer, etc.
All proceeds of the event benefit the local Boys and Girls Club.
Dry camping at the fairgrounds will be available Friday and Saturday. Interested campers should email organizers at sports@flatheadbgc.org. Call 406-676-5437 for additional information.
Potluck at Big Arm School
The Big Arm Association will be hosting a potluck dinner at the historic Big Arm School at 6 p.m. Friday. Bring your favorite dish to share with neighbors and friends. Guest speaker for the evening will be Fire Chief Gordon Gieser.

Family Table meal Friday
Family Table will be serving a free potato bar meal from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Wander Inn, at the corner of Seventh Avenue West and First Street West, just north of Cherry Valley School in Polson.
Family Table’s goal is to serve healthy meals with an emphasis on locally grown ingredients.
