Best of Polson voting begins

It’s time for Polson to celebrate what makes this community such a special place to live, work and play.

This week the Lake County Leader kicks off its inaugural Best of Polson reader poll, a friendly competition asking readers to vote for their favorite businesses, restaurants, people and places in town. Let us know who does it the best, and show your appreciation by voting for your favorites.

The contest starts with a nomination period that runs through July 25. This is the time when you’ll get to enter your favorites into the competition and then we’ll narrow it down to the finalists.

On July 26 voting begins during which you’ll return to cast your ballot to determine the winners in each category. Voting ends Aug. 9.

You can vote once per day throughout the contest. Voting will enter you in the chance to win a prize of your own.

There’s the chance to vote for your favorite burger, the best places to shop, and let us know who has the best customer service in town. Other fun categories include best local attraction, best nonprofit and best community project.

When we’ve tallied all the votes, then we’ll present the winners to the community in a magazine published in the Leader and distributed around town. And winners will get their very own certificate to proudly display.
