City of Polson, Montana NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Polson City Commission has completed the preliminary annual budget for the fiscal year 2021 - 2022 (FY22). The Commission has called for a public hearing on the budget and permissive medical levy pursuant to Section 7-6-4021 and 2-9-212 M.C.A. The PRELIMINARY budget and permissive medical levy hearing will be held on Monday August 9, 2021 at 6:30 pm by Zoom meeting. Information on how to access the Zoom meeting will be provided on the published agenda. The public hearing may be continued from day to day. Any taxpayer or resident may appear at the public hearing and be heard for or against the proposed budget. Approximately 37,158 tons, consisting of mixed conifer sawlogs, are offered for sale. Sealed bids will be opened at the Department of Natural Resources & Conservation, 2705 Spurgin Road, Missoula, Montana on August 19, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Bids may be hand delivered or mailed and will be accepted any time prior to the bid opening. DNRC recommends that bidders contact the Trust Land Management Division (406-542-4300) prior to the bid opening to ensure that your bid has been received. Bids must be accompanied by a deposit of $41,357.00, representing 5% of the minimum bid value of the sale in cashier's check, certified check, bank money order or bank draft to be applied to the first sale invoice for the successful bidder.
