Community notes: Reksten to address Pachyderms

District 12 state Rep. Linda Reksten will be guest speaker at the Lake County Pachyderms meeting starting at noon Thursday, June 11 at the Polson Rural Fire Department house at 25b Regatta Road.

Reksten will discuss the last legislative session and will be available to answer questions.

Summer reading program begins

The North Lake County Public Library's summer reading program starts Monday, June 14. This year's theme is “Tails and Tales." The program includes guest speakers and prizes.

Special programs will be held Thursday mornings starting at 10 a.m.

Meet in Sacajawea Park across the street from the library. If there is bad weather, call the library to register for a spot for the program.

Officer Doyle and Canine Officer Jager of the Polson Police Department will visit for the June 17 program.
