Polson Middle School wins SMART Schools Challenge

The Montana Department of Environmental Quality recently awarded Polson Middle School a state recognition through SMART Schools.
The school received the award for its upcycling activities with its computer boxes and packaging, Promethean board packaging, solar cooker materials, and gardening activities.
Along with the recognition, the school was awarded $2,000 to continue some of its activities and efforts to reduce waste, energy and resource loss. This is Polson Middle School’s third year in a row winning the SMART Schools Challenge.
