Following a 24-6-1 season and a runner-up finish at the B/C state softball tournament in Florence, three Mission-Arlee-Charlo Lady Bulldogs landed on the all-state team announced last week, while two others made the all-conference second team.

Pitcher/third baseman Liev Smith, the team’s only senior, goes out with an all-state nod. Smith had a .478 batting average this season. She drove in 25 runs and scored 52. She also struck out 57 batters over 50-plus innings en route to a 10-3 record.

Joining Smith on the all-state team are sophomores Kooper Page, the team’s other primary pitcher, and infielder Jerny Crawford.

Page had a .385 average and drove in 30 runs for the season. She struck out 123 batters over 87 innings and finished with a record of 14-2-1 on the mound.

Crawford finished with a .542 batting average. She had 32 extra-base hits, including nine home runs, and drove in 35 runs. She also scored 58 runs.

Rheid Crawford, also a sophomore, and freshman Izzy Evans were both named to the all-conference second team.

Evans smacked eight home runs and drove in 58 runs. She also pitched 12-plus innings, recording 13 strikeouts along the way.

Rheid Crawford had a .434 average with 19 doubles, seven home runs and 45 RBI.
