The Mission Valley Mariners A squad cruised to a doubleheader sweep on the road Saturday against the Libby Loggers.
The Mariners took the first game 16-1 and followed with a 19-5 victory in the second game.
Dawson Dumont drove in five runs in the nightcap, while James Bennett and Eric Dolence each had two RBIs.
Dolence and Xavier Fisher both drove in three runs in the opener, while Bennett brought home a pair.
The Mariners (18-10, 7-3) are in second place in the Western Conference, trailing only the Glacier Twins (25-8, 6-2). They’ll head back to Libby this weekend for a three-day tournament starting Friday.
