Flathead Lake fishing crew captures human remains

Operators of a gill-netting boat on Flathead Lake discovered a human skull in their net while pulling it on Wednesday, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Department.

The discovery was reported around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Sheriff’s Department personnel took custody of the human remains, which will be transported to the Montana Forensic Science lab.
