Mission sophomore guard Zoran LaFrombois, the Bulldogs’ leading scorer this season, has been named to the Class B boys basketball All-State team following voting by coaches.

LaFrombois scored in double figures in all but two games this season, and he surpassed 30 points twice. He also led the team in assists and notched close to 60 steals.

Mission’s junior post Ross McPherson, the team’s second-leading scorer, received second-team honors. McPherson led the team in blocked shots and rebounds, averaging close to eight boards per game.

3 Lady Bulldogs on second team

The Mission Lady Bulldogs had a trio of players named to the second team of the basketball honors list.

Senior Sydney Brander led the team in scoring and rebounding. She connected on about 24 3-pointers and grabbed more than 130 rebounds. It was the third all-conference honor for Brander, also a second-team pick the previous two seasons.

Junior Madyson Currie was the third leading scorer and second leading rebounder for the squad, but led the Lady Bulldogs in assists, steals and blocked shots.

Sophomore Kooper Page also made the second team. She was second in points and third in rebounds for the Lady Bulldogs. She also connected on 32 3-pointers.
