Polson Chamber announces annual community awards
The Polson Chamber of Commerce recently recognized businesses for the 2020 Polson Chamber Community Awards during a virtual ceremony after the Chamber canceled its annual in-person banquet due to pandemic concerns.
Lake County Public Health received the 2020 Nonprofit/Organization of the Year Award.
“You have done a phenomenal job, and I know I speak on behalf of everyone on the board and throughout the community,” said Brian Miskimins, president of the Polson Chamber board of directors. “You don’t know how much we appreciate all of your hard work.”
Recipients are nominated by the public and selected by the Chamber.
Other awards went to:
Valley Glass - Business of the Year
Aric Cooksley, Boys and Girls Club of the Flathead Reservation - Polson Leadership Award
Jason Burroughs, New Life Church - Volunteer of the Year
Nancy Hausermann - Citizen of the Year
