Pirates' distance runners shine at Whitefish

Polson runners Maddilyn Huffine and Isabel Seeley finished 1-2 in the girls 3200 meters, while teammate Ryan Dupuis won the boys 800 Saturday at the Whitefish A.R.M Invite.

The Lady Pirates also got Top finishes from Adison Carlson (5) and Taleah Hernandez (6) in the 800. Meanwhile, Ashtyn Wagner finished fourth in the girls 1600 and Mason Sloan finished fifth in the boys 800 and third in the 1600 to round out a stellar day for Polson distance runners.

Polson also got a win in the boys javelin from Jonathan Perez with a throw of 139-10.

Michelle Dale finished fifth in the girls 300 hurdles and sixth in the 100 hurdles.

Jarrett Wilson finished fourth in the 200 and third in the high jump.

Drifter Skillicorn was third in the 400 meters with a time of 54.22. Trinity Bell was sixth in the girls discus with a toss of 89-6.
