Local stockgrowers claim awards at NILE expo

Local livestock producers earned awards at this year’s Northern International Livestock Exposition held Oct. 15-23 in Billings.

The NILE stock show is “a great opportunity for breeders, exhibitors and consignors to show off their very best animals — whether it be in the show or sale ring,” according to the organization’s website.

Local winners from the 2021 expo include:

Kia Hendrickson, St. Ignatius — Jr. Shorthorn Grand Champion Female, Jr. ShorthornPLUS Grand Champion Female, Shorthorn Grand Champion Female, Reserve ShorthornPLUS Grand Champion Female.

Grace Elverud, Charlo — Grand Champion Heifer, Reserve Champion Showman.
