Class B/C: Charlo’s Cox, Sullivan named all state

Charlo seniors Kassidi Cox and Molly Kate Sullivan put a bow on their prep volleyball careers with Class C all state honors.
The Lady Vikings (16-3) entered the state tournament with just one loss, a three-set defeat at Class B Thompson Falls.
Cox was among Charlo’s leaders in kills, aces and digs. It was her second all-state nod. Sullivan also was a top offensive threat as well as a key part of the defense.
Charlo took a 13-game win streak to the Western C divisional tournament at Manhattan, where the Lady Vikings finished fourth.
Hot Springs senior Lily Winn also was named all state from the 14C Conference.
Charlo junior Hayleigh Smith earned all conference second team honors.
Page, Crawford receive Class B honors
In Class B, junior Kooper Page of Mission was named to the 7B all conference second team.
The Lady Bulldogs finished fourth at the district tournament, and their season came to an end with a pair of losses at divisionals in Thompson Falls.
All state selections from 7B were junior Inga Turner of Bigfork, and Thompson Falls’ Scarlette Schwindt, a senior, and Avery Burgess, a junior.
Meanwhile, Arlee junior Jerny Crawford recently was named to the 6B all conference first team.
All state selections from 6B were Loyola senior Natalie Clevenger, Anaconda senior Malia Harris and Florence-Carlton senior Kasidy Yeoman.
