Jarrett Wilson threw for 301 yards and five touchdowns and tore off an 88-yard scoring run Friday to lead Polson over non-conference foe Havre 41-14 at home on Senior Night.

Wilson was 15-for-18 passing for the Pirates (7-0), who led 35-0 at halftime. Two of his TD passes covered 70 and 25 yards to Colton Graham, who had three catches for 119 yards. Xavier Fisher, who had four catches for 58 yards, caught scoring strikes of 25 and 15 yards.

Alex Muzquiz had another four catches for 93 yards for Polson, which piled up 454 yards of offense to 244 for the Northeast A Blue Ponies (2-5).

Havre running back Orion Thivierge finished with more than 200 yards rushing and scored two TDs on the ground, both in the second half.

Wilson has thrown for 39 touchdown passes this season, including five against Glacier’s JV early in the season.

The Pirates are No. 4 in the latest 406MTsports.com Class A rankings, one spot above Whitefish (7-0). Polson travels to Browning on Friday, then wraps up the regular season Oct. 22 at Whitefish in a potential showdown for the conference title.

Chiefs struggle at No. 1 Hamilton

Ronan (0-6) had a measure of success moving the ball against top-ranked Hamilton (6-0), but the Chiefs were sunk in part by five turnovers.

Tristen Fisher led Ronan with 47 rushing yards on 11 carries. Chiefs quarterback Colter Cornwell completed 11 of 26 passes for 94 yards.

The Broncs racked up more than 500 yards of total offense.

Quarterback Caleb Cheff missed the game due to concussion protocols but is expected to return to play as early as this weekend.

Ronan hosts Corvallis (1-5) on Friday and finishes with a home game against Dillon (5-2) the following week.
