Mission Valley runners show well at Canal Bank Run

At the Ronan Canal Bank meet, a half dozen Mission Valley runners placed among the top 15 for both boys and girls races. The Mission boys were paced with a fourth-place sub-18-minute run from Andrew Rush, while teammates Thomas and Robbie Nuila both turned in sub-19s and Zoran LaFrombois was just a few seconds over 19 minutes.
Polson was led by Ryan Dupuis, who was 6 seconds from a sub-18, while Drifter Skillicorn turned in a sub-19 performance to make the top 15.
Mission Valley girls were led by a third-place, sub-22 run from Ronan’s Olivia Heiner. Polson’s Ashtyn Wagner came within 8 seconds of a sub-22 for fifth place, while teammates Adison Carlson and Halle Heninger finished with sub-23s for top 10 performances, and Maddilyn Huffine notched the 15th slot among the leaders. Mission junior Kooper Page paced Lady Bulldog runners with a 13th-place finish.
