Get free seed for pollinator plots

The Lake County Conservation District (LCCD) is encouraging residents to consider planting dormant pollinator plots this year. Plots are prepared in the fall and seeded in the winter for spring blooms. They help support pollinators throughout the region.

Visit the LCCD website at www.lakecountyconservationdistrict.org to learn more and to reserve free pollinator seed. The district also will hold free seed giveaway events in early October.
