Chiefs fall short against Browning
Tristan Fisher ran for a 4-yard touchdown to pull the Chiefs (0-4, 0-4) within two points in the final minutes of their Homecoming matchup with Browning on Friday, but the 2-point conversion failed as Browning came away with the 34-32 win.
The teams were tied as 26-26 with about 8 minutes remaining. Browning then marched the length of the field and punched in a score, followed by a successful conversion, to go up 34-26.
The Chiefs’ final drive stalled a few times, thanks to some penalties, but a late facemask penalty against Browning put them in the red zone.
After the failed conversion, Ronan attempted an onside kick, but Browning (2-3, 1-0) recovered and ran the clock out for the win.
Ronan travels to Whitefish (5-0) on Friday.
