Polson tennis splits with Stevensville

Sierra Lundeen and Hope Morrison won their singles matches to help Polson to a 4-3 win in a tennis dual against Stevensville on Friday.

Lundeen topped Olivia Peretto 6-3, 6-1, and Morrison beat Chloe Milsten 6-3, 6-0.

Doubles team Summer Newman/Lucy Violett prevailed over Milsten/Reese Styrman in three sets, 4-6, 6-4, 11-9.

Stevi’s boys edged Polson 4-3 with singles wins from Domanic Bridges and Angus Trangmore.

Polson’s Torrin Ellis won 6-1, 6-0 in No. 1 singles against Janis Wingerath, and Max Violett, at No. 4 singles, won in two sets over Maddox Hurlbert.
