Prep Football Roundup: Vikings ground Eagles
CHARLO – The Charlo Vikings exploded out of the gate in their season home opener Friday night by grounding the Valley Christian Eagles 42-6.
Leading the way for Charlo was junior quarterback Hayden Hollow going 8-of-11 for 129 yards passing and three touchdown passes to Wesley Anderson, Tucker Love, and Keaton Piedalue.
Piedalue led the Vikings with 91 yards on the ground with the longest run resulting in a 65-yard rumble down the sideline for a touchdown. Love also chipped in with 40-yards on seven carries and a touchdown.

We spent the first few possessions settling into a rhythm but by the second quarter we were firing on all cylinders which helped create a lot of confidence with our boys.”

Also for the Vikings, Tayre Brown booked four solo tackles followed by Denny Black with two sacks.
