St. Ignatius Senior Citizen Center: Christmas is a’coming
As I look out my window today, winter is upon us. Please stay warm, dry safe and be careful of falls.
Christmas is fast approaching.
The senior center participated in the St. Ignatius Christmas Tree Lightening by helping serve and provide cookies for the crowd.
The St. Ignatius 4-H Bazaar is Dec. 10 at the St. Ignatius New Gym starting at 10 a.m. The St. Ignatius Senior Center will have a bake sale during the event.
Havilah Burton from the CSKT Extension will be offering a cooking class 4-5:30 p.m. Dec. 16, and sharing ideas on how to eat healthy on a budget. All are invited to come and participate.
Bonnie Kiser teaches Gently Yoga at 1 p.m. Wednesdays. For more information, call 406-253-0171.
There will be a free Christmas Choral Concert at 2 p.m. Dec. 17 at the St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Come enjoy some beautiful holiday music.
Upcoming meals, served at noon on Tuesdays and Fridays at the center, include the following main dishes:
Chicken with potatoes and gravy, Dec. 9; taco bake and corn salad, Dec. 13; tator-tot shepard’s pie, Dec. 16; and pizza and green salad, Dec. 20.
Christmas dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21. Enjoy ham, scalloped potatoes,
candied carrots, salad, rolls, and carrot cake, with music on tap during dinner.
