Lady Pirates struggle to score in opener; claim game two
The Lady Pirates faltered in their first game of the season, facing Dillon Friday at the Western A Tip-Off Tournament in Frenchtown on Friday.
Dillon scored 43 to Polson’s 17. Kylie Konen netted 10 points, Halie Fitzgerald scored eight, Leila Stennerson tallied seven and Sydney Petersen six for Dillon. Lady Pirates were led by Grace Simonich with 8, Addyson Gallatin, 7, and Mila Hawk with 2.

The tables turned on Saturday, as new head coach Brandie Buckless led the Pirates to a win against Corvallis, 46-34.
