Boys Roundup: LaFrombois passes 1,000 points

Mission’s all-state junior guard Zoran LaFrombois scored 22 points and topped 1,000 for his career in a 56-39 win at Thompson Falls on Feb. 1. He also had six assists, eight steals and three rebounds.

Cedrick McDonald added 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Ross McPherson finished with 10 points and eight rebounds.

Kellen McClure contributed five points and three steals.

Back home Saturday, the Bulldogs (7-1, 13-2) led by three heading into the fourth period against 6B Florence-Carlton (14-2) but ultimately lost 66-64.

LaFrombois hit three 3-pointers and finished with 25 points and seven assists. McDonald finished with 13 points and nine rebounds, while Mike Wheeler added 11 points. McPherson finished with eight points and 11 rebounds.

The Bulldogs will finish off the regular season with home games against Thompson Falls on Thursday and Plains on Saturday.

Piedalue paces Vikings

Keaton Piedalue scored 27 points as Charlo (7-3, 10-7) blew away Clark Fork (2-7, 2-11) on the road Saturday.

Coyle Nagy added 12 points, while Tucker Love finished with six.

The Vikings hosted Hot Springs (6-3, 9-4) on Friday and lost 72-63.

Piedalue had a career-high 30 points in the loss. Charlo also got 10 points and nine rebounds from Stetson Reum, and six points each from Love and Nagy.

Falcons topple Warriors

Arlee’s Levi Fullerton scored a team-high 16 points Friday night in a 54-42 home loss to Florence-Carlton (7-0, 13-2).

The Warriors got seven points each from Ben OldPerson-Harlow and Dallas Swab, while Kendall O’Neill, Jace Arca and Jake Knoll each scored four.

Arlee was set to host Ronan on Tuesday night. The Warriors will wrap up the regular season at home against Plains on Thursday.

Pirates tame Bulldogs

Colton Graham notched a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds as the Polson Pirates won 51-36 at Whitefish on Feb. 1.

Trent Wilson scored 13 points and grabbed four rebounds, while Jarrett Wilson finished with four points, six rebounds and five assists.

Chiefs cruise at Stevi

Elijah Tonasket scored 13 points, Jordan Gatch had 12 and Ted Coffman scored nine to lead Ronan (7-7) to a 48-34 win at Stevensville (1-15) on Saturday.

Marlo Tonasket finished with five points, and Payton Cates added four.

The Chiefs led by 11 after the first period.

Elijah Tonasket hit two of Ronan’s four 3-pointers in the win.

Eagles fall twice

Cai Burke scored 19 points to pace Two Eagle River School (0-6, 0-12) in a 78-54 loss at St. Regis on Friday. Thomas SpottedEagle scored 12 points in the loss.

The Eagles hit eight 3-pointers, five from Burke, two from SpottedEagle and one from Ryley AfterBuffalo.

Back home Saturday, Nate Gates scored a team-high 17 points in a 78-50 loss to Hot Springs.

SpottedEagle finished with 11 points and Burke added eight. Chris Brown and Tyler Pierre each scored six points.
