SKC business students launch campaign to fund scholarships
A group of senior business students at Salish Kootenai College in Pablo has launched a fundraising campaign with the aim of creating scholarships for incoming SKC business students.
FutureBison is an experiential student learning project supported by the school’s Business Division. It operates under Salish Kootenai College's 501(c)(3) non-profit organization status.
The program seeks to raise $7,500 for five $1,000 scholarships to incoming SKC Business Division students and 30 dual enrollment fee waivers for future SKC Business Division students.
Those wishing to contribute to the program have the option of selecting from a list of perks available for donations ranging from $10 to $100. Among the perks listed are tickets to University of Montana basketball games, tools, attire, meals and passes to Lake County golf courses.
Supporters also have the option of donating without buying a perk.
