Carl Victor Moss, 74
Carl Victor Moss, 74, passed from this Earth on Jan. 20, while surrounded by loved ones in Dillon.
He was the sixth child in a family of 11 children born to Reuben R. and Elmyra Carey Moss in Jackson Hole, Wyo. His family moved to the Mission Valley when he was 5 years old, and it was here that he grew to manhood and spent most of his life.
Carl was a hardworking rancher, a skilled horseman, a good neighbor, a loyal friend, an honorable man and most importantly an adored father and husband.
Left to treasure his memory are: the love of his life, Kathy Hammond Moss;, his 10 children: Tawna (Don) Chery, Keela (Rick) Seemann, Shane (Gillian) Moss, Colleen Adler, Kim (Jason) Starkel, Trever Moss, Zeffy (Michael) Feist, Karlina (Peter) Schmidt, Delphia (Cary) Fry and Brittanee (Cody) Anderson; his 37 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and his brothers and sisters: Afton (Lee) Moss, Howard (Lynn) Moss, Elaine McOmber, Marilyn (John) Bragger, Margie (Marvin) Klinker, Dennis (Kristy) Moss, Kevin (Joelle) Moss, Susie Moss and Dana Moss.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Jim, Ray and Joan.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Ronan.
