NOTICE FROM CSKT TRIBAL FORESTRY The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (CSKT) Forestry Department will be implementing both fire salvage sales and timber sales in the Boulder area north of Polson on the east side of Flathead Lake. Forestry requested and received permission from Tribal Council to close the B-2000 Road system to recreational use to include snowmobiling, other motorized vehicles use, cross country skiing and other activities that may put both loggers and recreationist at risk for an accident. This closure will start February 1, 2022 and remain in effect until the roads that are being utilized by the loggers are cleared of snow and ice. After the roads have cleared, recreational use may resume on a limited basis.
