PABLO – The deafening roar of earth-shaking engines, sounds of cars crunching, and the frenzied cheers of a packed grandstand filled the Mission Valley Super Oval last Friday and Saturday nights during the Malicious Monster Truck Tour’s stop at the speedway.

“It’s family entertainment for all ages,” Malicious Monster Trucks announcer Dallas Glenn-Rogers said. “So, whether you’re 3 years old or 93 years old, you’re guaranteed to have fun.”

The night featured five high-flying 12,000-pound gargantuan trucks in head-to-head competition ranging from freestyle tricks to time trials to one-on-one racing.

Prior to the start of the contest, during intermission, and then at the conclusion of the show anyone who wanted a glimpse of what it’s like to be in one of these beasts was able to get a ride.

The night also featured world-famous fire belching Megasaurus, a Tyrannosaurus Rex modeled vehicle that shot fire from its mouth and ripped a junkyard car in half with its steel teeth.

This weekend left turn racing returns to Mission Valley Super Oval during the Montana 200.
