Tidrick back-to-back Montana 200 champion

PABLO – Chalk up another one for BJ Tidrick, winner of Saturday night’s 31st annual Montana 200 hosted at the Mission Valley Super Oval in Pablo.

Kennewick based driver, Tidrick, took the checkered flag in Montana’s biggest race of the season for the second consecutive year and third overall.

Tidrick took the lead from pole-sitter and fellow Washingtonian Haeden Plybon of Spokane around the 40th lap and set the pace the rest of the way to earn his $10,000 winner’s check.

Local racers former Montana 200 winner Cory Wolfe of Ronan placed 12th overall after finishing 153 laps out of 200, while Jeff Smyth of St. Ignatius placed 20th completing 83 out of 200 laps.
