Library programs this week

For the Week of July 18, news from the North Lake County Public Library District:

“Oceans of Possibilities” is the theme for this year’s Summer Reading Program. You can register in READSquared and begin logging, and/or get a paper reading log. Remember, this program is for all ages! If you have any questions, please drop in or call the Library at 883-8225.

Read with Riley! Fridays, with time slots from 10-11 a.m. “Pawsitive Reading Partners” will join us on Friday mornings, and bring Riley, who is a registered therapy dog, to the library. Dungeons & Dragons Game Night Monday, July 18 starting at 5:00 p.m. with an average run time of 4 hours: “Hunt for the Ghost Ship” is the title of our adventure. We will meet in the large meeting room. Light snacks will be provided, but you are welcome to bring food & non-alcoholic beverages. This adventure is geared toward older teens & adults. Please call 406-883-8225 to reserve a player spot or just drop-in to observe.

Learn Photoshop Skills: Tuesday, July 26 at 2 p.m. Did you know that Adobe Photoshop is available to use for free at the library? Learn common photo editing techniques such as correcting exposure, enhancing colors, removing blemishes, and more. Bring a laptop and some photos to edit if you would like to follow along using the free, browser-based editing program Photopea.

Summer Programs continue each Thursday! All programs start at 10 a.m. July 21 you can treasure hunt your way through MT PBS Programs and July 28th we will have the LEGO Guy here!

Mondays mean Mother Goose! Join us at 9:15 a.m. Mother Goose is geared toward ages 0 to 3, but all are welcome. We encourage parents & caregivers to participate with their children for this early learning time. The doors open at 9.
