MOUNTAIN VIEW CARE CENTER LICENSE CHANGE 4/1/2022 As of April 1 ,2022, Mountain View Care Center will operate under a new license. With the licensing changes, Mountain View Care Center will cease to operate as a Skilled Nursing Facility and will operate as a Memory Care Assisted Living Center. The decision was made because of the hardships of Covid pandemic and with the article written in the Missoulian on January 15,2022 regarding Montana nursing home facing financial crisis months after federal relief funds stopped. So instead of doing nothing in a crisis, we chose to offer the community a Memory Care Assisted Living Center. The new name will be Pines Assisted Living Memory Care Center. Residents will see no change in the Quality of Care, Nurses will still be on duty as well as Aides and other members of our staff. In order to complete the process of transitioning to Assisted Living we are working with the State on Medicaid Waivers and adjusting our facility to become an Assisted Living Memory Care on April 1, 2022. Pines Assisted Living Memory Care is also owned by the Pines of Polson and Pines of Mission. Our new Memory Care Facility will be accepting applications on March 15, 2022. Letters have and will be sent to Providers, Families, POA's and Discharge Planners as to our change from a Skilled Nursing Facility to a Memory Care Assisted Living Center. We have a lot of exciting things planned to provide a comfortable homelike environment for our residents. If you have any questions or concerns please call 406-676-5510 ext 4 Sincerely, Joy Hochhalter, Administrator-MVCC Mike Coe- Administrator of Pines of Mission and Polson Published on March 10, 2022.
