Jeremy Pickering, 37

| March 15, 2022 2:45 AM

Jeremy Pickering was born July 21, 1984 in Ronan and passed away March 8, 2022. Jeremy is survived by his brother, Jason Pickering, sister Marcela Estevez and sister Natasha Gallegos.

Jeremy grew up off and on from Washington state to the Flathead Reservation in Montana. Throughout his life he was genuinely affectionate with his family and friends. As a child his family and friends gave him the nicknames “Tootles,” “Kissy Face” and “Jerm.” He was an inspiration to those who struggled, and he spread cheer with a goofy smile. He wasn’t scared to grab you, hug you, and kiss your cheek to let you know you were loved.

Jeremy also had a temper and knew trouble with the law. He was a true outlaw, but that didn’t deter him from trying to reach for his dreams. He was an independent tattoo artist with a studio he named Against All Odds. Many people from around the valley carry his artwork on their bodies.

Jeremy was also an avid guitar player (heavy metal and rock). Music was an outlet for Jeremy at all times. He also loved his dogs, Grim and Luna. During his troubles he went through extended lengths to make sure his “babies” were taken care of.

He also loved to ride his motorcycle, just him and the highway was heaven to Jeremy. He worked numerous jobs in his life and made it a point that he wanted to work with helping people wherever he chose to work.

Jeremy was very charismatic and had a personality that grew on many. He was a little brother to the whole community and all who knew his love. He struggled toward the end. His burdens grew too heavy to bear, and he sadly ended his life. Many people are saddened by this tragedy. May you rest in paradise, and may your pain be healed. We all love you.
