REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES The City of Ronan, Lake County, Montana is soliciting proposals from engineering firms to assist the City in design and construction for water main replacement projects. The selected engineering firm will provide plans and specifications for DEQ approval of the water mains to be replaced. Construction Management services are also requested. All work will be in accordance with the City of Ronan, Montana Department of Environmental Quality, Montana Public Works, and the Environmental Protection Agency. The City has received or may receive funding from the American Rescue Plan Act and the State Revolving Fund. The selected engineer must be familiar with these agencies and their requirements. PUBLIC NOTICE This is to notify all interested parties that Lake County Council on Aging (LCCOA) is applying for Montana Department of Transportation's 5311 operating grant in the amount of 61,883 for grant period FY23 (July 1, 2022 - June 30, 2023). LCCOA is also applying for the TransADE matching fund grant in the amount of $8,916. This is to notify all interested parties that LCCOA is also applying for $56,000 in capital funding The capital assistance grant is funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and administered by the Montana Department of Transportation. These FTA funds will be used to purchase a 9 passenger, AWD ford transit van with two wheelchair spots so that we can provide more services for senior citizens, disabled community members, and the general public. This is to notify all interested parties that Mission Mountain Enterprises (MME) is applying for $57,600 through the capital assistance grant. The capital assistance grant is funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and administered by the Montana Department of Transportation. FTA funds will be used to purchase a 12 passenger light duty bus with six-wheelchair stations for providing transportation services to group homes and activity centers. Notice of Close of Regular Voter Registration and Option for Late Registration Notice is hereby given that regular* registration for all School Elections, the Arlee Rural Fire District, the Chief Cliff Fire Service Area, and the Pablo Water and Sewer District Elections to be held on May 3, 2022, will close at 5:00 p.m., on April 4, 2022. *NOTE: If you miss this regular registration deadline, you may still register for the election by appearing in person at the county election office before 12:00 PM (noon) the day before Election Day.
