Andrea Eaton, 79

Andrea Eaton, 79, passed away on May 12 in Arlee while surrounded by family.

Born in Battleboro, Vt. on Nov 30, 1942 to Patricia (Holmes) and Stanley Curtis Newton. She graduated from McLean High School in Virginia in 1961 and continued her education at Kinman Business University in Spokane and North Idaho College in Coeur d’Alene.

Andrea married Robert Crocker in 1964, and to this union two daughters were born. They divorced in 1971, and she continued to work a variety of jobs at Keytronics in the 1970s and 1980’s before retiring in the 1990s. She enjoyed gardening, rodeos, watching her grandchildren’s activities and coloring, and she found 12-step recovery in 1988 and later celebrated 34 years clean.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Curtis Newton. She is survived by her daughters, Katie Crocker and Dori (Earl) Knoll; nine grandchildren: Sara (Caleb) Jahay and children Aliyah and Amaya, Rachel (Andrew Matlock) and child Kyla – Sage Hearn, Jessica Hearn Knoll, Thomas Knoll, Robert Knoll, Jacob Knoll, Andrew Knoll and Izabella Knoll.

At her request, no formal services will be held. Take a minute to remember Andrea. Pet a dog or enjoy a beautiful sunset.
