Set your clocks back an hour before you go to bed on Nov. 5.

Register and vote at Linderman gym on Tuesday, Nov. 8. Your vote is your voice. Exercise your franchise, report threats and celebrate democracy in action.

After you vote, or before, come to the Senior Center for a Safeway-sponsored clinic to get flu and/or pneumonia shots, available from 10 a.m. until noon, and stay for lunch!

Veteran’s Day is Nov. 11. You know their story. Those here and those lost, we are in your debt. Those with proof of armed forces service will receive a $2 rebate on the price of lunches served at the center on Nov. 11.

Activities coming up at the Polson Senior Center include: bowling for fun, 1 p.m. Tuesdays; bridge, 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays (beginners welcome); pinochle, 12:30-3 p.m. Thursdays; and bingo, 7 p.m. Fridays. The pool table is open 8 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays.

Seniors have an opportunity to Exercise for Mobility, 10:30 a.m.-11:30 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The veteran’s representative visits the center from 10 a.m.-noon Nov. 4 and 15.

Meals are available for sit-down, take-out or delivery from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. weekdays and cost $5. The menu is posted each week at the center. This week’s main dishes include: pork pot pie, Nov. 3; cheeseburgers, Nov. 4; chicken dumpling soup, Nov. 7; pork loin with stuffing and gravy, Nov. 8; and French dip, Nov. 9.

The Polson Senior Center is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays at 504 3rd Ave. E. For more information, call 406-883-4735 or email polsonseniorcenter@gmail.com.
